After a 12 hour drive starting at 4:30 in the morning...I am checked into our Hotel (16 miles from the Convention site!) and am preparing to crash for the night.
I have had time to look over some of the welcome articles included in not one but two cloth goody bags prepared for the Delegates. Seems we must really like to drink coffee on the fly as there are two insulated travel mugs. Also two T shirts...one of them long sleeve which may come in handy here in the evenings. And...let us not forget the yellow rubber ducky...no kidding!
There is a lot of excitement here, and some good business is taking place including what I hear was a very productive meeting of the Rules Committee which is determined to correct the Primary process. (Please... no more Florida/Michigan calamities)
